Dear Running Man Manta Ray Parents,

We would like to share two upcoming GPSA Officials Training opportunities for parents who are interested in becoming certified officials or learning more about swim meet officiating. Certified officials are our Stroke and Turn judges, Meet Referee, Starter, and Admin Referee. 

Training Dates:

Monday, June 1
Location: Marlbank Pool Clubhouse

Time: 5:30 PM – 8:00 PM 

(Stroke and Turn 5:30-7:00; Starter/Meet Ref/Admin Ref 7:00-8:00 PM)

Thursday, June 4
Location: Warwick Yacht & Country Club
Time: 5:30 PM – 8:00 PM

(Stroke and Turn 5:30-7:00; Starter/Meet Ref/Admin Ref 7:00-8:00 PM)

These training sessions provide valuable instruction on the roles and responsibilities of swim officials and are a great opportunity for parents who would like to become more involved with our swim program. They are also required of anyone taking on these positions. 

Officials need to participate in one training session EVERY YEAR per the GPSA rules. This means if you were an official last year, you will need to retake the training again this year. 

If you are interested in attending, please register for one of the sessions and plan to arrive a few minutes early.
